Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced 3M Certified Vehicle Wrap Installer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is a true professional who understands that a quality installation is just as important as the quality of the print. The role will begin as part-time, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time position.

This position will be responsible for installing full and partial vehicle wraps, fleet graphics, lettering, decals, and other vinyl applications. The right candidate will be comfortable working on a variety of vehicles and surfaces and will have the technical knowledge and attention to detail necessary to produce clean, precise, professional installations.

Responsibilities include:

• Install full and partial vehicle wraps, fleet graphics, lettering, decals, and specialty vinyl applications.

• Properly prepare, clean, and inspect vehicle surfaces prior to installation.

• Apply vinyl to complex curves, contours, seams, recesses, rivets, and other challenging surfaces.

• Perform proper stretching, heating, post-heating, and finishing techniques.

• Remove existing wraps, graphics, and adhesive when required.

• Inspect completed installations and correct any imperfections before delivery.

• Review artwork and installation specifications prior to beginning a project.

• Identify potential installation issues before work begins and communicate concerns to the appropriate team members.

• Work closely with production and project management teams to ensure projects are completed accurately and on schedule.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional installation environment.

• Properly handle and care for customer vehicles throughout the installation process.

• Maintain installation tools and equipment and follow all company safety procedures.

• Deliver consistently high-quality workmanship while meeting established production schedules.

Requirements:

• Current 3M Certified Vehicle Graphics Installer (CVI) certification.

• Proven professional experience installing vehicle wraps and vinyl graphics.

• Strong understanding of vinyl application techniques, including stretching, heating, post-heating, seams, overlaps, and finishing.

• Experience working with 3M and other premium vinyl products.

• Exceptional attention to detail and pride in workmanship.

• Ability to confidently install graphics on complex vehicle surfaces.

• Ability to read and interpret artwork, measurements, templates, and installation specifications.

• Ability to identify potential installation challenges before they become costly mistakes.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

• Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team.

• Professional communication and customer-service skills.

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, reach, climb, and work around vehicles for extended periods.

• Ability to safely lift and handle installation materials and equipment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with commercial fleet graphics and multi-vehicle programs.

• Experience wrapping box trucks, trailers, cargo vans, buses, or specialty vehicles.

• Experience with window graphics, wall graphics, PPF, or other specialty films.

• Experience in a commercial print, sign, or large-format graphics production environment.

• Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator or other graphic production software.

• Certifications or experience with Avery Dennison, ORAFOL, or other premium vinyl manufacturers.
