  • Integrating New-Age Technology with Print Advertising

If you said ten years ago that print advertisements could play videos, scan codes, and be interactive, you would have been looked at like crazy. Well, here we are, making crazy a reality, and for good reason too. When you combine the effectiveness of print advertising with new age technology, you create a fully immersive and unforgettable experience. Printing QR codes Even Though QR codes have been around for some time, small businesses have not integrated them into their print advertising campaigns. QR codes are more than just extra ink on paper, they encode various information that is easily accessible by any device with a camera, or QR-Scanner application. Which means that the majority of your audience that owns a smart device can interact with that print advertisement, any time-any where. QR Codes are also great for providing information to consumers that is up-to-date. Here are great examples of how to utilize QR effectively! Remember! Some consumers may or may not know how to access and use a QR code. It's always a great idea to add instructional verbiage or an external link just in case! Investing in Augmented Reality It sounds fake-we know, but it isn’t! Augmented Reality (AR) is the new kid on the block, and harnessing it for your marketing can drive all sorts of traffic to your business. Augmented reality, explained by the franklin institute is “the real-life environment right in front of us—trees swaying in the park, dogs chasing balls, kids playing soccer—with a digital augmentation overlaid on it.” Augmented reality has currently been integrated into the most recent line of smart devices by apple and samsung, and has been used by some of the larger corporate companies such as IKEA, Lacoste, Pepsi, Toys-R-US and more. AR is great for emotionally connecting to consumers and increasing sales . A study released by statista states that the AR market size will exceed more than 198 billion in 2025. Near Field Communication Near field communication, or NFC for short, is very similar to QR codes. NFC tags work with smart devices and more, making printed materials a better and more immersive experience. The best example of a NFC tag, in everyday use, is scanning a smart device at checkout. So long as a consumer has a smart device and their NFC setting is turned on, they can access any information you provided in the NFC tag. Why do we recommend this? Because it’s a fun and interactive way to get consumers connected to your brand. Here are 9 examples of NFC being used in print! Let’s Get Visual! Print advertisements have come a long way. Flyers, business cards, direct mailers, and newspapers now can be more than just paper. AR, QR and NFC are just a few ways to integrate new-age technology into print. • How Color Marketing can Increase Your Sales in 2021

It's no surprise that color impacts a consumers purchase. In fact, Digital synopsis concluded that 93 percent of shoppers purchase a product based on it’s visual appearance . From the packaging on your favorite brand, to the luxurious styles of your living room - you made a choice based on how these colors look and make you feel. But, what is more important is understanding why you actually chose such colors. All marketing professionals should understand the psychology of color because no matter what - color will always be used. Properly utilizing colors in different marketing and advertising materials is very important. The importance is not only for the brand identity of businesses, but to the consumer they are appealing to. Here are 8 colors we looked into and how understanding them can increase your sales in 2021. Red Red is the most powerful color to be used in color marketing. Since it is very dynamic; it has the ability to show affection, love, fear and survival. Because of red’s powerful nature, it comes off as an energizing color; making it portray strong feelings. If your business is looking to have a strong presence over your consumers, red will be the go-to color for your brand. Moreover, many businesses will use red when they want to create a sense of urgency. Such as a flash sale, or a percentage off an item/service. Keep in mind though, because of this color’s overwhelming power, it can represent demand and aggression. Therefore, the context of red's use should be examined thoroughly. Blue Blue is one of the most used colors in the world; even outside the realm of marketing and business. This is because blue is well known for the trust and dependability it showcases. To add, blue is a mentally soothing color for consumers because of it’s reliable and responsible traits. Blue sparks a mental reaction., allowing consumers to be calm, decompress and function in a more ideal mental state. But, with all this good, there are some downsides. Blue is the hardest color to see on the color spectrum, because it requires the most light to be seen and takes the longest to identify. This can lead to this color sometimes being distant or cold if used in large amounts. In short, blue is a favored color by masses because of its stabilizing mental states. In marketing, blue imulates trust, and strong relationship building. Green The color green represents harmony, balance and health. Green holds the ability to create a balance between emotional and logical thinking processes, making it easier to decipher between right and wrong. Since green is the most common color of nature, it represents peace, life and rest. The feeling of growth is also described when looking at this specific color. Such growth can be showcased through objects or even wealth. Green holds little to no negatives, such as materialism and greed; but it is overall a positive color for representation. Yellow Yellow stands strong as the foundation of all things cheerful and optimistic. Almost always, yellow will be the color to represent overall happiness. Going off of the color spectrum, yellow possesses a long wavelength. This makes it one of the most powerful colors to use in marketing, especially when attempting to target the psyche of consumers. Because of the long wavelength, yellow is the easiest color to see. It's even the first color infants are able to respond to! The downside to too much yellow is it can lead to consumers feeling fear, anxiety and even inflict self esteem issues. Being able to find the proper dose of yellow will lead to your brand making consumers feel confident, lifted and feeling inspired. Orange Orange is different, but impressive because of its psychological effects. Since Orange is a combination of red and yellow; it possesses red’s power and yellow’s fun energy. This combination provides excellent representation of comfort in shelter, food and warmth. Orange is also a motivational color, leading to positive attitudes and enthusiasm in consumers. Making orange an overall great color for providing comfort to consumers in all situations. Purple Purple is best associated with brands that are known for royalty, imagination and spirituality. Like yellow, purple balances red and blue. This balance is between the spiritual and physical feeling consumers get when seeing purple. The many wonders of purple is that it represents a glimpse of mystery, while also providing consumers with a soothing aura - which is why spirituality is often associated with this color. Do keep in mind that the overuse of purple can invoke distraction from what you are actually selling to your consumers. Black Black is known to be portrayed as controlling, sophisticated and serious in terms of colors. On the color spectrum, black lacks all forms of light, making it a very reserved color to select in marketing. Black tends to stay separated from other colors. This separation is good when brands are going for high contrast and legibility. Being cautious when using black is a must due to how powerful it is. Overusing black can lead to your brand and marketing look negative. White The color white represents peace, cleanliness and new beginnings. The blank slate color also gives way to refreshment and the creation of new ideas. White can take on multiple different meanings, but the strongest meaning white represents is equality. If your brand represents simplicity, creativity and or cleanliness - then white is the color for you. Be warned, too much white can evoke the feeling of isolation and emptiness in your consumers. Understanding and properly interpreting color should be in your marketing and sales tool belt because of it’s impact on consumers' behaviors and their thought process. From where consumers look, to what they do and how they interpret things- it is all relative to color. Color helps us decide what is and isn't important, which is why as a marketing professional, understanding what colors mean to consumers is very important. • How to Make Your Business Stand Out With Digital Marketing

Regardless of the industry your business might be in, it’s becoming more and more difficult for companies to stand out. However, there are ways you can go about making your business unique enough to stand out amongst competition. From defining the brand's voice, to crafting interactive content - read below to find out how digital marketing can make a business stand out! Define Your Brand’s Tone of Voice The tone for your brand is a main influencer in how consumers perceive your message, personality and business values. From the words you choose, to the different types of digital content you put out, the overall tone of your brand should be consistent and cohesive across all marketing channels. With successful implementation of your brand's voice, a consumer should be able to identify the business through text alone. See below to assure your brand is on the right path. Consider how you have communicated successfully with current and former clients in the past. Recognize the type of tone you would like to execute in the future with new/potential clients. Examine your competitors and how they are communicating their brand/message to their customers. The Creation of Content Content marketing is a way to define your brand and build your company's credibility with current and potential clients. The content you create and release will help elevate your brand as an industry leader, and overall, differentiate yourself against current competitors. The creation of content and marketing it to consumers is also a substantial way to advocate that your brand is what consumers can and should rely on for enduring value. To show you how well content works for businesses, a survey by demand gen report concluded that 51 percent of business to business buyers rely on the content a business created to influence their buying decisions. The consumers also want shorter and more interactive content that educates them more than selling to them. Interaction is Key On top of making content that is ideal for the consumer; it should also be interactive on some level. In fact, the most popular way to market a business has been through the use of interactive and exciting campaigns. Why does this work? People want to interact with content they are viewing-rather than just look at it. Such content can be anything from polls and questionnaires to infographics, videos and more. The goal of having interactive marketing campaigns is to entice customers to engage ! Being able to engage with your customers also allows you to collect that information and curate more content that your customers find important to them. Implement Paid Advertisements Using paid advertisements across social platforms will help differentiate your business. The benefit of advertising on social media is that there are multiple styles of advertisements that you can test and see which perform better. The best way to see how your business would stack up against the competition when you are investing in paid advertisements would be to look at how your competitors are advertising. Look at what they are doing and implement a strategy to be more effective. Test different campaigns and review the data from each. • What Type of Coating Should your Business use: Varnish, Aqueous or UV Coatings?

When printing on paper substrate, it is important to know what type of coating you are going to be investing in for your project. While cost might be one of the biggest factors in your decision- understanding what you are actually paying for is significant. Which is why businesses should take the time to understand the different coatings that can be offered to them. Not only does using a proper coating add a protective element to your substrate, it is also a great way to add creative finish to your work. The various types of coating include: varnish, aqueous, and UV coatings. Varnish coatings: Varnish is applied on the printing press like all other inks being used in the project. Varnish varies in the styles that are offered. It can be applied as a gloss, satin or dull finish. Varnish is also the type of coating that can be applied with or without tints. The benefits of using a varnish over the other types of coatings is because of the flexibility and ease of application of the product - which is why varnish is a lower cost method to coating your substrate. The downside to using this method is that varnish offers the least amount of protection for your substrate - making it more susceptible to ink blemishes and finger-prints. Aqueous coatings: Aqueous coatings are a water based option for coating your substrates. This is the most commonly used type of coating, because it provides great protection against blemishes and fingerprints. Just like the application process involving varnish; Aqueous is applied directly to the printing press. The benefit of choosing aqueous coating is that they are less likely to yellow than varnish. Businesses also chose this method, because it is an eco-friendly solution to coatings. Aqueous can be applied as a gloss or dull finish. UV Coatings: Ultraviolet , or UV for short, is the strongest coating you can apply for protecting your substrates. The application process is different then Aqueous and varnish coatings. The UV coating is added either in-line or off-line by converters, printers or finishers. The coating starts out as a liquid, and once applied, the uv is exposed to ultraviolet lights to thicken. UV coatings come in the options of a high gloss, matte or satin option. The benefit of ultraviolet coating is the various finishes it offers. The UV also can be applied with glitter, special tints and even scents- how cool is that! When should I use a coating on my project? Even though you might want the fancy look of a finish for all of your business needs, it’s important to know when you should use a coating like UV, varnish or aqueous. Writing materials like note cards or postcards will not be able to be written on easily because of the applied finish. If you have any questions about coatings, or are interested in using a special finish on your next print job, contact us here or call us directly at +1(609) 645-1940! http://the-print-guide.blogspot.com/2012/03/choosing-right-print-coating.html https://www.summitprintingpro.com/resources/paper-coatings.html

  • Integrating Print & Digital Media

You’ve invested in print media for a while now, but more and more are seeing a rise in digital media popularity and want to make the switch… what should you do now? If you're thinking about choosing one or the other, you are WRONG. Your best bet is to adapt & overcome - adopt both. Print media along with digital media are extremely useful tools when advertising a campaign. The combination of the two being used are extremely beneficial ways to not only increase your reach, but expand brand awareness, as well. Let's dive deeper into reasons why companies use a combination of print marketing and digital media marketing to create the perfect integrated campaign. Many companies use a combined approach of print and digital media to expand their target audience. Why? Think about all of the people you can reach if you utilize both strategies. Via the internet and in person, you will make impressions on countless potential customers, with the ability to target people everywhere. Using both print and digital media advertising expands your audience significantly to reach as many people as possible. Not only will you be reaching the locals with print, but those who engage on the internet as well, through digital media. Reaching as many people as you can is the ultimate goal. Using both print and digital media marketing will achieve this goal faster as opposed to limiting yourself to one or the other. Another reason companies use both marketing strategies is to increase brand awareness. By reaching so many people, your brand awareness will skyrocket. Combining print and digital media marketing will enhance exposure creating people to not only know who you are, but what you do as well. Brand awareness is a key component in a campaign in order to promote your business. Therefore, increasing brand awareness is pertinent, and what better way to do so than to use both print and digital media? One successful campaign that came out of the year 2016 involved the hit Netflix show Stranger Things who partnered with Google. In this campaign, both the release of the hit show, and Google’s new app, Google Allo were being advertised. A Stranger Things themed vending machine was hidden in the depths of New York City. In order to find this gem and also get a quick snack, you had to use the Google Allo app. This not only promoted the use of the app, but allowed people to get to know the show through the app as well. Posts were plastered over social media about this campaign which significantly increased brand awareness for both businesses. Overall, this campaign was deemed highly successful on both ends of Netflix, and Google. Are you ready to invest in an integrated marketing campaign? Contact us today for more information! • Why Printed Materials are Needed for ANY Event

Planning an event is no easy feat. There are so many elements and moving parts that need to be coordinated just so, lest everything culminate in complete disaster. In order to throw a successful event of any variety, those in attendance need to have the best experience possible. One crucial component to ensuring this is providing guests with access to information and resources relevant to what is going on. And what better way to do this than with printed materials? No matter the nature or type of event, printed materials are almost always pivotal to their success. Charity Events It’s no surprise that consumers are willing to donate to and participate in a cause they believe in. Companies have successfully run non marketing campaigns via social media and the internet. But, donors and participants prefer and react better to printed media. There are many ways of reaching out and engaging with consumers to get their support! You’re planning a Charity Golf Event where donors play golf, eat and of course donate to the cause. After reserving the venue and golf course, you send out postcards highlighting the event. This post card includes an outline of the day ahead, a RSVP and donation section. You also reach out to businesses and companies to rally support. Their support will be displayed throughout the golf course in forms of lawn signs , table place settings , banners and more! On event day, workers will be dressed accordingly in event shirts . Tucked away inside the golf cart will be promotional items relative to the golf outing, and an informational booklet highlighting the event details, schedule, donors and history of the Charity. Did we mention directional signage? After the tournament play is over, all golfers will have a chance to donate through a raffle. Raffle tickets will be passed around to the participating donors to effectively claim their prize and donate to the cause. Concerts The importance of printed materials at concerts may not be inherently obvious. Nonetheless, printed materials play an essential role in this type of event. Let’s go through an average concert experience, and see just how essential they are. You arrive at the concert venue, and naturally need a Parking Pass . You need to provide your Ticket for admittance. After this, you are often required to wear a Wristband , which acts as proof of purchase and ensures that if you leave, you can get back in. You may have purchased a VIP Pass that grants you faster entrance or special access to different areas. You’re going to need to look at Signage to figure out where you're going, and of course, you may want to buy some Merchandise , such as a Printed Shirt or Poster to commemorate the occasion. Trade Shows Trade Shows are an occasion where businesses can showcase their branding, via multiple types of print, to other firms in their field, potential customers, or even partners. Let’s delve into all the ways printed materials are used at this type of event. You’re setting up your business’s exhibition at the Trade Show. The first thing you do is to set up your branded Signage , as well as a Fabric Banner Display , so that attendees can easily identify and locate you. A guest wearing his Trade Show Pass attached by a branded Lanyard comes up to your exhibition. He can’t look for long, but that’s fine. You hand him a branded Flyer, which gives a brief overview of your business and a Brochure, which further details your product line. He also takes a Business Card from your table, so he can reach out to you after he leaves. Conferences Conferences are events which often feature several speakers who discuss a common topic or industry. Those who attend often do so with the aim of gaining a bit more knowledge on whatever the focus of the event is, and printed materials can greatly enhance their experience in a number of ways. Let’s see how. You arrive at a conference, and are immediately given an Agenda , which details who is speaking, as well as when and where. You are able to get to the first speech with the help of directional Signage . As the speaker begins, you are able to take notes using the Notepad and Branded Pen that was also provided to you. It’s a bit hard to hear, but luckily you grabbed a Program that includes several keynotes of the speech, as well as other important information. After the speaker finishes, you introduce yourself and ask when and where you can attend another event where they will be speaking. They then hand you an Info Card , which gives you the date and location of the next conference they will be speaking at. After reading through these scenarios, it is much more clear just how big of a role printed material plays in the success of any event. Without it, attendees would be hard-pressed to have the information and resources they need to have a fulfilling experience. Of course, the whole goal of an event, no matter what kind, is for guests to enjoy themselves and find value in their time spent. Using printed materials at any event is a sure fire way to make sure this goal is met! Written by Omega High Impact Print Solutions Digital Marketing Associate, Emily Steel

  • The Importance of Packaging Design

Chances are, you’re familiar with the old adage, “Don’t judge a book by it’s cover.” While this is a nice sentiment, the truth is, first impressions actually do mean a lot to people. And when it comes to product packaging, the case is no different. Nowadays, you would be hard-strapped to find a product without at least a few possible substitutes. This means that package design may very well be the deciding factor in which product ends up being purchased. Ergo, though another brand may be better in quality itself, it is superior packaging that makes a difference in the eye of the consumer. Beautiful, print packaging is more important today than ever before, for more reasons than simply wrapping, containing or protecting a product. Positive First Impressions We’ve already covered the importance of first impressions, which holds especially true when a product needs to stand out in a sea of possible substitute products. This is where attention-grabbing, print packaging comes into play. Whether it be on the shelves of a supermarket, or on the pages of an eCommerce website... packaging design can mean the difference between being glossed over or being purchased. This is your first opportunity to win consumers over and become aware of your brand. Having lackluster packing could completely squander your chances of making a good first impression, and increase the chance that a potential customer will simply move on to the next. Emphasize Brand Identity Behind every brand lies it’s own unique story; an identity that oftentimes takes countless time and effort to develop. Your first chance of conveying this distinctive identity to potential customers is through printed packaging. After all, it is what consumers see first. By printing packaging that embodies your company’s image, you give people the chance to really get a feel for what your brand is all about. Packaging is a great medium to showcase your company logo, as well as branding and trademarks. This way, consumers will have a greater sense of brand recognition, and will be able to more easily identify your products amongst others. Communicate Necessary Information Even though it is important to have visually appealing, brand-aligned packaging, it’s imperative not to forget that it must also be informative. Packaging must communicate any need-to-know information about the product with potential customers. Consumers should be able to tell who the product is created for, what it’s purpose is, and how it can improve their life. Packaging should also convey other important details, depending on the type of product. This includes information about the manufacturer, expiration dates, disposal instructions, nutrition facts, directions, and warnings. In many cases, packaging design can truly prove to be just as important as the product it contains. Product packaging design plays a very important role in catching the attention of customers, no matter what type of product, or what environment it’s being sold in. When competing with a bunch of other brands, having superior packaging could prove more important in influencing one’s buying decision than the quality of the product itself. In a world where bad first impressions are near impossible to come back from, don’t let poor packaging design be your downfall! • Choosing the Right Large Format Substrate

When printing a large format project, choosing the proper substrate is crucial. While the art, text, and other elements of your design plays a huge role in the success of your large format print, it is just as important to consider what your content is being printed on. There are tons of different substrates to choose from, so choosing the best one for the job can seem a bit overwhelming. However, taking the following factors into account can help narrow down your list significantly, and ultimately help you make the selection. Budget Since substrates vary so widely in their physical attributes, it’s only natural that their costs vary widely as well. That’s why it’s important to select a substrate that is appropriate for your budget. When working with a tight budget, you may want to go with more cost-effective materials, like paper or coroplast boards. These substrates tend to fall on the cheaper end of the substrate-spectrum, and support a wide range of uses and modes of utilization. However, if you have a bit more wiggle room in your budget, using materials like acrylic, aluminum, or PVC could be in your realm of possibilities. These substrates tend to be a bit more limited in their design possibilities, but often result in a more luxurious or high-end looking print. Environment It is also very important to consider the environment that your large-format print will exist in. Specifically, will it be placed inside or outside? And if it will be placed outside, what temperatures and weather conditions will it be exposed to? Some substrates are heavily affected by factors like rain, heat, cold, and the sun. Paper, for instance, is highly susceptible to water damage and color fade due to the sun. Most outdoor-appropriate substrates can also be used indoors as well, but indoor substrates may not always be able to be utilized outdoors. Luckily, since there are so many substrates available on the market, you are sure to find an outdoor substrate that is appropriate for your price range. Application The desired duration and flexibility of your large format project’s application is the final factor to consider when choosing an appropriate substrate. Do you wish your print to have a long lasting, or even permanent application? Or maybe you want an application that supports a shorter lifespan. When deciding what your application goal is, it’s important to remember that the time you wish the piece to last is ultimately determined by the overall cost and substrate choice. Also, you should also keep in mind that applications that support a long duration may not be the best option if flexibility is your main goal. For example, if you want to change a sign after a relatively short period of time, opting for a more permanent mode of application can prove to be costly. If flexibility is your main goal, short or medium term applications are much more cost effective. Large format prints can act as highly effective marketing materials, when done the right way. This “right way” includes, of course, it’s content and design. However, choosing the right medium for the job is just as imperative to the success of your print. As previously stated, selecting the proper substrate can seem like a daunting task, since there are so many to choose from. Though, when you consider your budget, the environment that your print will be in, and your application goals, it trims your list of options considerably. From there, you can easily choose the best substrate for your large format print! Written by Omega High Impact Print Solutions Digital Marketing Associate, Emily Steel

  • How Window Clings can Amplify Your Marketing Efforts

Signage is a key component of any business’ marketing mix. There are many different types of signs that can benefit a business in their own unique ways...however, one type, in particular, is often overlooked. Window clings have the power to amplify any company’s marketing efforts in a multitude of ways. Skeptical? Read on to discover all of the ways window clings can heighten your brand’s visibility, attract customers and play an overall crucial role in your marketing plan! Complimentary Branding Window clings serve as an attention-grabbing branding method in any window display. This is especially true when used in conjunction with other branding efforts. Windows are an excellent medium for emphasizing your brand and executing your branding strategy since it’s usually the first thing people notice when entering your establishment. This means people can instantly associate and connect your window clings with your other marketing efforts, which not only strengthens their recognition of your brand, but conveys a message that your brand is cohesive, clean, and professional. Highlight Key Information This form of signage not only serves as a visually pleasing marketing piece, but an informational one, as well. They can give potential customers details on your company’s hours of operation, special promotions, and the service and/or products that you offer. Window clings are also a great option for businesses that need to advertise seasonal offerings or important notices, as they can be easily removed and replaced, as seen fit. Unique Design Opportunities Unique and original window clings provide the opportunity to garner the attention of passersby and foster their interest in your brand. Your individual cling design can highlight what your business does in a creative way, and can attract customers in your target market. Say, for example, you have a company that provides auto body services. This means you can display window clings of cars and mechanics to emphasize the services you provide. By showcasing your capabilities via window clings, it’s practically guaranteed that you will attract and convert potential customers at a higher rate than if you left your window space unutilized. Take Advantage of Unused Space Speaking of unutilized storefront space…use it! By not making the most out of every inch of your storefront, you are missing out on potential marketing opportunities, and therefore, profit. By exhibiting promotions, creative designs, logos, relevant messages, attractive images and more in the form of window clings, your brand’s visibility and reach can skyrocket. Using clings on blank areas of your storefront or other windows ensures that you don’t waste any chance to further your business’ marketing success. Window clings are a surprisingly easy way to expand your marketing efforts. By displaying this form of signage, you can increase your brand’s visibility, reach, and impact on customers and potential customers. They not only serve as a visual attention-grabber, but as an informational tool, a way to strengthen your overall marketing efforts, and as a way to capitalize on otherwise unused space. In order to maximize the efficiency of your marketing mix, incorporating window clings whenever and wherever possible is simply a must! • The Best Places to Distribute Flyers

When it comes to incorporating print in your marketing plan, selecting which print materials to utilize can be a difficult decision. While there are tons of options out there, each with their own specific advantages, one print material you can’t go wrong with is flyers. Using flyers with eye-catching graphics and a strong message is one of the best ways to market your brand, products, services and events. Of course, where you distribute your flyers is crucial to your marketing success. Knowing the optimal locations to place your print is essential to garner the attention of your target audience and a high response rate. Below, we will discuss where you should be circulating your flyers in order to maximize their effectiveness. Inside Shopping Bags If you own a brick-and-mortar retail business, placing a flyer into your customers’ shopping bags at checkout is an easy way to bring attention to any potential upcoming sales, in-store event, new products or services, or your brand in general. Since the patron will eventually be removing their new wares from the bag, they are bound to see any flyer that’s been slipped inside. Plus, because this individual is already doing business with you, they most likely already harbor positive attitudes toward your brand that can be easily bolstered by your print marketing material. Hand out to Event Attendees Does your business ever have a presence at festivals, concerts, trade shows or any other event? Directly disseminating your flyers to those in attendance may be your best bet. This includes both standing amongst the crowd and passing them out directly, as well as passing them out at your booth to people who stop to learn more. Your flyer complements the discussions you have with people you come across or who visit your booth, and strengthens their ability to recall your business, even after the event has concluded. Inside Packages For businesses that ship and deliver their products, placing flyers within their packaging is an effective placement for further advertising their business. As is the case with placing them in customer’s shopping bags, your flyers are bound to be noticed upon the customer opening their package. Also, even if your company doesn’t ship any items, distributing your flyers within product packaging may still be a possibility. You may want to explore a partnership with a business(es) with a similar customer base, that allows you to insert flyers into their packages instead. Via Direct Mail Another great way to make sure your flyers reach your target customer base is by sending them out as direct mail. This method allows you to directly reach your personal customer list or an outsourced list of consumers who fit your target consumer profile. Even in a heavily digitized world, direct mail is still very effective. Recent research has shown that direct mail has a higher ROI than both paid search or online display ads. You could even incorporate variable data into your direct mail flyers, which can give your print a personal touch, boost your chances of garnering a response, and increase conversion rates. On Social Media Flyers don’t have to be limited to print form. Once your business’s flyers have been designed and printed, you have the ability to utilize a digital version of the flyer to post on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or any other social media platform where your company has a presence. By disseminating an online version of your flyer on social media, you maximize your potential reach. This is because anyone who views it has the ability to easily share it with their friends, family and followers. Flyers can prove to be an exceptionally powerful print marketing material for any and all businesses. However, like any type of advertisement, if they are not exposed to the right audience, their effectiveness can be severely stunted. Knowing where to distribute your flyers so that your target consumer base can take notice is absolutely crucial. While the composition of your flyer is important in it’s own right, where you place them is the determining factor in whether or not they produce positive results for your business.
